Featuring Music in the Barns Chamber Ensemble and Daisuke Takeya, Visual Artist
For centuries, artists have developed their skills by drawing live models. Featuring the Music the Barns Chamber Ensemble as a “musical model” and Daisuke Takeya, visual artist, students will be guided in drawing what they see and hear as the ensemble performs classical string works geared for young audiences. Come dressed for mess!

The legendary David Amram will wow audiences of all ages! David Amram brings with him hundreds of instruments, melodies and stories from around the world. An artistic pioneer renowned throughout the music, film and theatre worlds, David Amram’s credits range from composing the score for the original Manchurian Candidate to being awarded six honorary doctorates, including one for his ground-breaking work with beat poet, Jack Kerouac.
